Favourite books

What are people's favourite books? Mine are:
'Cry of the Ice Mark', 'The Uglies, Pretties, Specials' series, 'The Dark Materials' series and 'North Child'.

Hm...Mine, at the moment is...Silverfin by Charlie Higson.

It's about James Bond when he was little. SO awesome!! I don't want to spoil anything so...yeah.

What is that book about, if I may ask?

It is a series of three books based in the future where when you turn 16, you have to have an operation to make you perfectly pretty then you get to live in pretty ville. Then a girl meets a friend who doesn't want to go through with the operation so she runs away. And this other girl has to find her otherwise she won't get the operation. But there is a bit of a twist. It is all very good and exciting
I can't say what the next two books are about without spoiling the end These new ones are so cool

Have any of you read It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini?

I've never heard of it... whats it about?

It's about a guy who tried to commit suicide, but instead he calls the suicide hotline. I think he tried to commit suicide because his best friend is dating the girl he liked(?) They tell him to check in at a hospital and he complies. And he soon meets other people and stuff like that.

It's a very good book.

I'm rereading 'Socrates in Love'. Its AMAZING!

I've heard of that, but never read it. What is it about?

Its about a boy and a girl who fall in love!
But then, the girl gets leukemia. And she becomes very sick.
Its a wonderful book, but it makes me cry every time I read it!

I'll have to check if the library has it!!! >__<
