I hate it when that happens! The site is awesome and then some person buys it and it turns horrible... it seems to happen alot Sad

If i ever make an awesome website, im not selling it to anyone!
So with this site, once you've made a quiz, can you put it on such sites as myspace? Or is it a site based quiz? And can other people publicly see your quizes etc?

THe character limitation only lets you type 122 words (or something) on the question box. :S

No i used to. I don't remember my details anymore :S But myspace is way better! (in my opinion)
My friend was saying that when she went to Canada, she asked her new friends what they're bebo was, and nobody knew what she was talking about

They all used facebook over there. So she made a facebook account to catch up with them.

Its just like a bebo... they even have most of the same applications! Facebook lets you keep in touch with people who you dont get to see every day. You have a Wall (just like bebo) and you have a profile picture (just like bebo!) and you can add applications. You also have a relationship status, which says if you're: Single, It's Complicated, Dating, Engaged, In an Open Relationship, Married... Also, if you select Dating, Engaged, In an open relationship, or Married, and the person that you are dating/married to has a facebook, and you are friends, you can add that. It shows on your profile as 'Dating/married/etc. . (I dont think bebo has this.)
Facebook also has an IM system. If you are online, it shows up in your status, and a friend can send you a message that will pop up on the screen in a separate window.

Facebook was the site who started applications. Then bebo started getting them and copied facebook in every single way. and then started copying myspace and to return the favour, myspace also got the same aps as facebook and bebo.

ooo and i was reading in the newspaper that facebook is now making it mandatory for people to select their gender. This is because in some languages, there are no words for both referenced or niether referenced genders. like their, for example. Therefore, it is difficult to translate.

Hahaha! I never knew that! I just sorta thought that random companies made them and went up to all the people who own Myspace, Bebo, and Facebook and gave them the product...

Probably that too, buy if it were a company, then they'd probably want money, and those three sites are all free.. so i don't see how they would earn a profit by having their products on the site. unless the sites paid them.

I think its that the creators get page hits or something, and depending on the ads they get they get paid by the company. Understand?

I know that this happens with lots of sites, but I'm not sure about the ones we're talking about.

ex. Bob has a website that gets hundreds of thousands of views a day. Because he wants to make money off of it, he decides to go to some companies and ask them if they want to put their adds on his site. CARCOMPANY decides that they want to endorse their new car on his website, and pay him $20 to put the ad up on the site. But, depending on how many people see this add, they could get more views, so the tell Bob that they'll give him 100 dollars for every 1000 views he gets on his page. And, they'll also give him $.10 for every person who clicks on the link from his site and goes to their site.

That must not be true! you explained the website ads very well! ... haha i'm quite terrible at it too.. that's why i didnt choose it. :S but then shouldn't i have chosen it so i could learn to understand it? oh well XD
